17. Eleven dogs' brains were examined by the Government Bacteriologist for evidence of Rabies with no positive results.

LIVE STOCK IN THE COLONY.
21. The following numbers of Live Stock were in the Districts under the supervision of Sanitary Inspectors on 31st December, 1932:-
Horses Cows Goats In the New Territories:- 810 1,861 120 80 500 7522. The above figures do not include animals kept by the Military Authorities nor animals for slaughter in Government Depots. No figures are given for work or store cattle as these fluctuate greatly and would be misleading.
23. No figures are given for swine owing to the difficulty of obtaining a record of sufficient accuracy to be of any value.
