# ANNEXE BY THE SECRETARY, SANITARY BOARD.

## SANITARY BOARD.

1. The following were members of the Sanitary Board during the year:-

President, the Head of the Sanitary Department, Mr. G. R. Sayer, for whom Mr. W. J. Carrie acted from 14th May to 26th May.

Vice-President, the Director of Public Works, the Honourable Mr. H. T. Creasy, C.B.E., from 1st January to 1st July and the Honourable Mr. R. M. Henderson, Acting Director of Public Works, from 2nd July to 31st December.

The Secretary for Chinese Affairs, the Honourable Mr. E. R. Hallifax, C.M.G., C.B.E., for whom Mr. A. E. Wood acted from 6th May to 7th December. The Medical Officer of Health, Mr. G. W. Pope, L.R.C.P. & S., D.P.H.

Mr. L. C. F. Bellamy.

Mr. Wong Kwong Tin.

The Honourable Mr. Chau Tsun Nin resigned on expiry of term of office on 24th March.

Mr. Lo Man Kam resigned as an elected member on 23rd March.

Mr. Lo Man Kam was appointed a member by His Excellency the Governor on 25th March vice the Honourable Mr. Chau Tsun Nin.

Dr. Li Shu Fan was elected a member on 10th May vice Mr. Lo Man Kam.

Mr. F. C. Hall, for whom Mr. C. Champkin acted from 24th May to 27th December.

Dr. R. A. de Castro Basto, for whom Mr. C. H. Basto acted from 26th October to 31st December.

Note:-

During the year Mr. J. H. Gelling acted as Secretary to the Sanitary Board.

Mr. J. Hargreaves acted as Assistant Secretary to the Sanitary Board from 1st January to 29th February.

Mr. Ng Mui Kai acted as Assistant Secretary to the Sanitary Board from 1st March to 24th May.

Mr. J. C. Lang acted as Assistant Secretary to the Sanitary Board from 25th May to 26th July. Mr. Ng Mui Kai acted as Assistant Secretary to the Sanitary Board from 27th July to 31st December.
