# ANNEXE BY THE COLONIAL VETERINARY SURGEON.
## STAFF.
On May 18th 1932, the Colonial Veterinary Surgeon returned from leave and resumed duty.
## GENERAL STATISTICS.
2. There was no great change in the number of animals slaughtered, but in the case of swine a much larger proportion of large pigs was slaughtered.
3. The number of animals admitted to Kennedy Town and Ma Tau Kok Slaughter Houses is shown in Table XVI.
4. The revenue derived from Slaughter Houses is shown in Table XVII.
## LARD FACTORIES.
5. The following goods were manufactured and exported to the Philippine Islands, United Kingdom and Australia:-
Lard 3,629,870 lbs. Crackings 223,840 Skins 248,248 Sausages and dried meat 17 219,044 716. Raw material received into Lard Factories:-
Raw Fat 5,388,104 lbs. Lean Meat 280,0497. Food exported from Firms other than Lard Factories:-

8. The following were destroyed for which no charges were made:
7,070 lbs. of diseased meat (condemned carcases etc.) and 83 animals.

38 tons of coal.
80 tins of kerosene.
87 gallons of kerosene emulsion.
