From Mount Butler triangulation station to triangulation station on Hill 800 near Tytam. Length 2 miles, closing error 1 in 9,000. From Kai Lung Wan triangulation station to traverse point near Pokfulam Police Station via Victoria Road and Sassoon Road. Length 3 miles. Closing error 1 in 28,750. Boa Vista triangulation station to traverse point at junction of Island Road and Shaukiwan Main Street. Length 24 miles. Closing error 1 in 18,000.
From traverse point at junction of Sai Wan and Island Roads to traverse point at Tytam Gap via Sai Wan Village. Length 14 miles. Closing error 1 in 6,568.
New Territories.-The following were the most important surveys carried out during the year:-
