KOWLOON.

213. Sub-Fire Station-Mong Kok.-The work consisted of structural alterations to the premises adjoining the present Fire Station to adapt them for the purposes of the Fire Brigade.

Twenty five light points and two plug points installed.

The work was commenced in April and completed in June.

214. Police Training School.—The work consisted of carrying out alterations to the rented domestic tenements at the junction of Prince Edward Road and Nathan Road for the purpose of adapting them for a Police Training School.

The work was commenced in February and completed in May.

215. Kowloon Junior School—Removal to “Parkside”. The work consisted of adapting the house known as "Parkside" Kowloon for use as the Kowloon Junior School.

This necessitated minor internal alterations, renovations throughout and the erection of a latrine block and covered way together with paving to form a playground.

Certain new furniture was also necessary.

The work was commenced in November and by the end of December was about half completed.

216. New Central British School-Sketch plans were prepared for the purpose of discussion only, to a small scale, showing the school and necessary buildings on the site adjoining the Kowloon Hospital.
