209. Development of The Aberdeen Valley.—A sketch plan for the Development of a large area of about 120 acres in extent in the Aberdeen Valley was prepared. The scheme divided the area into three portions—A site for a Country Club at the lower end of the Valley towards the Creek, the largest portion in the middle comprised a lay-out for development and building on Garden City lines and contained sites for about 100 houses and 60 flats together with a Recreation Ground of about 7 acres. The upper portion of the site contained a lay-out for a proposed new Gaol with Recreation Grounds for the Staff attached.

210. Police Club, Happy Valley.—Sketch plans were prepared for alterations to the present verandah to give increased accommodation, and the erection of a new verandah.

211. Proposed No. 2 Police Station.—Sketch plans were prepared for a four-storeyed building with suitable accommodation for a Police Station on a site on the Praya East Reclamation.

212. Proposed New Block of Offices On Beaconsfield Arcade Site—Sketch plans were prepared for a steel-framed building of six floors with accommodation suitable for Offices. The building is served by a main staircase with two passenger elevators in a central position and secondary staircases are arranged at each end of the building. All floors are provided with lavatory accommodation.
