182. New Queen's College-Site formation at Caroline Hill. This work was referred to in paragraph 103 of last year's Report. The site formation and road construction work covered by the contract having been completed by the end of the year the contract was closed. Rainstorm repair work being carried out on an order under the contract was still in hand.

183. New Government Civil Hospital.-During the year sketch plans were prepared for the erection of a new Government Civil Hospital to replace the existing old buildings.

184. Proposed New Officers Quarters, Queen's Gardens.— Sketch plans were prepared for the erection of 60 new flats at Queen's Gardens on the site of the existing buildings.

185. Constructing new Open Nullah in Village Road, Wongneicheong.—This work was shown to be required by the heavy rainstorm of the 19th July. Work was commenced towards the end of the year and good progress was made.

186. Constructing new Stormwater Culvert of 5 feet diameter through No. 1 Dump in connection with Inland Lot No. 2354 Stubbs Road.—This work was shown to be required by the heavy rainstorm of the 19th July. Work was commenced towards the end of the year and good progress was made.

187. Erection of a Weighbridge at Central Police Station.- This work consisted of the installation of a weighbridge at the Central Police Station for the purpose of weighing motor vehicles in connection with the issue of licences.
