188. Erection of Matshed Stables for Mounted Infantry Company, H.K.V.D.C.—It was found necessary to provide stable accommodation for ponies of the Mounted Infantry Company and an order was issued to Mr. Man Gang for the erection of a matshed stable at Causeway Bay.
The stabling erected comprised 40 stalls, with Separate Kitchen and Syce Quarters. The work was completed by the end of July.

189. Buried Telephone Cable between Victoria Gap,-No. 3 Peak and Mountain Lodge. This work was carried out in April and May. The cable replaces the former aerial lines.
