146. New Principal Water Mains in the City of Victoria.- This work was referred to in paragraph 146 of last year's Report.
The 15" C.I. main was continued Westwards from Tin Lok Lane as far as Heard Street, a distance of 900 feet.
4,600 lin. feet of 15" pipes was laid in Queen's Road and Bonham Strand between Eastern Street and Pottinger Street and 500 lin. feet of 12" main in Queen's Road between Eastern Street and Centre Street.
1,850 lin. feet of 12″ main was laid along the Causeway Bay Bund from Kennedy Stables to Tung Lo Wan, 6" branches being provided on all the above mains for pedestal hydrant connections.
