141. Jardine's Lookout, Catchwater. This work was referred to in paragraph 138 of last year's Report.
The remaining 600 lin. feet of catchwater was completed by the end of February, and the works generally maintained in good order for a period of 6 months after their completion.
The completed catchwater has a total catchment area of approximately 75 acres, 40 acres of which drains into a catchwater 3,300 feet in length discharging into Taitam catchment area through the Tai Hang Gap, and the remaining 35 acres drains into a catchwater 4,150 feet in length discharging into Taitam catchment area through the Wongneichong Gap.
