64. Survey of Colony.—An account of the Survey Work executed will be found in paragraphs 21 and 22 of this Report.

The following table shows the restrictions which were in operation during the year:

early, Pokfulam Beneficial rains fell during March and April, but the Summer rains terminated exceptionally Reservoir ceasing to overflow on July 29th.
Alterations at Taitam Tuk in connection with the erection of No. 5 engine, prevented pumping being recommenced until September 5th, and on September 6th the new 30" delivery main burst. This caused a complete cessation of pumping until September 21st on which date Taitam Reservoir contained only 175 million gallons,
The total quantity of water stored in the impounding reservoirs on the 1st January amounted to 1,561 million gallons. there being 365 million gallons in the gravitation reservoirs and 1,196 million gallons in the low-level reservoirs requiring pumping. Storage reached a minimum on the 14th June when the total was 825 million gallons, there being 155 million gallons in the gravitation reservoirs.
