61. Po Hing Fong.--Owing to the collapse of a retaining wall South of In Mi Lane several houses were destroyed and considerable damage was done to the roads in the district.

Retaining and toe walls to support the benching, where landslides occurred, were found necessary at the following places :--

Colonial Cemetery,
Stubbs Road,
Mount Davis Road,
Magazine Gap (Government Garage),
Plantation Road Children's Play ground,
Coombe Road,
Island Road (near Aberdeen and Stanley).

Large landslides occurred on the following roads:-

Middle Gap Road,
Wongneichong Road,
Mount Cameron Road,
Victoria Gap Road,
Sassoon Road,
Plantation Road, Children's Play ground,
Tai Hang New Motor Road,

Quarry Bay Village,
Mount Davis Road,
Magazine Gap Road,
Repulse Bay Road,
New Road above Conduit Road,
Belchers Street,
Beach Street,
Pokfulam Road,
Conduit Road,
Colonial Cemetery.

62. Stores Depreciation. The adjustment of store values and reconditioning of old stores have been met from this vote, amounting to $7,317.97

The following sums were credited to this vote:- $4,121.61 being rebate on freight charges in connection with stores purchased in England through the Crown Agents: $3,191.49 being the value of stores returned which had been issued prior to 1925.

The result showed a net expenditure on this Vote of 87 cents.

63. Boundary Stones.-A statement of the boundary stones fixed will be found in paragraph 16 of this Report.
