possession, cleverly concealed inside wooden clogs, 2 Automatic Pistols and one revolver with ammunition for same. The Defendant was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with Hard Labour (Case No. 15,440).

P. C. C. 373 Ku Wong was commended by Magistrates Mr. Lindsell and Mr. Hamilton for the smart capture of a Chinese in possession of a dagger on 3.11.25 in Sai Kung Road. The defendant was sentenced to 4 years Hard Labour (Case No. 5804).

L. S. A. 192 T. Clarke was commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for zeal and vigilance on duty on the occasion of the arrest by him of a Chinese in possession of a revolver in Chatham Road on the night of 13th November. In spite of being fired at by one of the man's companions, L. S. Clarke succeeded in bringing his prisoner to the Station. Two men who were accompanying the prisoner were subsequently arrested, and all 3 were convicted.
