L. S. C. 630 Chan Siu Ping and L. S. C. 368 Kong Siu Hong were commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for diligence and zeal and excellent work performed since March 1925 while in charge of the Chinese Wharf Searching Staff.

Inspector Cashman was commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for initiative and alertness and Sub Insp. Hutchins, P. S. 180 Wong Lau and L. S. C. 22 Chau Kun Yau were commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for diligence in prosecuting enquiries which led to the arrest of a gang of robbers who committed an armed robbery at Fa Ping Village, Lantao Island, on 21.8.25. One of the gang who was charged with returning from banishment was sentenced to 12 months Hard Labour, four of the gang were sentenced at October Sessions to 7 years Hard Labour each, while four others were subsequently banished.
