C. C. 518 Chu Wo was commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for diligence and perseverance in making enquiries into a case of Robbery with Violence in a matshed at Repulse Bay on 25.5.25 and the subsequent arrest of one of the robbers, who was sentenced to 6 years Hard Labour at the June Criminal Sessions 1925.

Detective C. 252 Yui Muk and C. 123 Li Sung were commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for alertness on duty in arresting 2 men in possession of wire, twine and a dagger on 3.7.25. Defendants were convicted and sentenced by the 1st Police Magistrate to 6 months Hard Labour and 12 strokes with the "Cat." Case No. 9766.

Acting P. S. 113 Whelan, Principal Chinese Detective Lai Shui and L. S. C. 345 Shek Tui were highly commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for prompt action and diligence whereby four men were arrested and charged with committing an armed robbery at an unnumbered new house in Tung Hing Road on 3.7.25. Prisoners were at the August Sessions sentenced to 5 years Hard Labour each.

Sub Inspector Fallon & Inspector Nawab Khan were commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for zeal and diligence in investigating a case of murder at Bonham Strand on 23.6.25. Two Indians were arrested and charged before His Honour the Chief Justice at the August Criminal Sessions. One was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death and the other not guilty and acquitted.

P. C. D. 193 Miao Pao Tsai was granted a 4th Class Medal and L. S. A. 119 McFadgean and P. C. D. 265 Liu Hong Kun were commended by H. E. the Governor for their initiative and energy in effecting the arrest of one Mok Chuen Chung who was charged with the murder of I. P. C. B. 41 Abdul Khalik at No. 3 Railway Bridge, Hung Hom, on 19.5.25 and sentenced to death at the August Criminal Sessions 1925.

Wong Kang, Li Lam Fat, Cheung Luk, Cheung Lam Kiu and Cheung Yau, Chinese Boatmen stationed at Sha Tau Kok Police Station, were granted a reward of $10 each for the commendable coolness displayed by them while under a hot rifle fire from Strikers on the Frontier New Territory on 15.8.25.

L. S. 95 Knowles was commended by the Capt. Supt. of Police for vigilance on duty on 26th August, whereby he effected the arrest of one Tsang Kun Lam, who was in possession of 2 revolvers. The prisoner was sentenced to 3 years Hard Labour.

P. C. 14 Wong Yung Shing and C. 303 Kwong Yi were commended by the C. S. P. for coolness & good discipline on the occasion on which their boat was fired upon at close range at Sha Tau Kok on 15th August 1925.
