192. Police Station, Shamshuipo.-Owing to pressure of work in the Architectural Office, Messrs. Palmer and Turner, Architects, were engaged to undertake this work.
The building was commenced in January, and by the end of the year good progress was made. It is a three-storeyed structure built of brick, with reinforced concrete floors and a tiled roof.
The accommodation consists of:-
Ground floor.--- Charge room, witnesses and interpreters' rooms, mess room for Chinese Constables, sleeping quarters for 10 Chinese Constables, 2 Sergeants, and 2 Detectives; also a garage, kitchen and lavatory.
First floor.-One European flat containing a living room, two bedrooms, and the usual offices; sleeping quarters for 17 Indian Constables and 2 Sergeants, mess room for Indian Constables, and the usual offices.
Second floor.—Three European flats, one containing a living room, three bedrooms, and the usual offices. The other two provide a living room, two bedrooms, and the usual offices.

This building and the Police Station at Shamshuipo (vide paragraph 192) are almost identical, as they were designed by the same Architects.
