CATTLE SHEDS IN AND ABOUT VICTORIA AND KOWLOON.

Many of the present sheds are neither of the best type nor well situated, looked at from the viewpoint of either veterinary hygiene or public health. Owing to development schemes these sheds are being rapidly demolished.

At the end of the year Government approved of the setting aside of a considerable area of well watered and well situated land which will be leased on extremely advantageous terms to proprietors for the purpose of erecting cattle sheds.

In the new situation it will be a comparatively easy matter to keep properly constructed premises in a very good hygienic condition. This ought to prove a good advance in the campaign for clean milk.
