23. The final division of Through and Joint Sectional Traffic Receipts has been agreed between the two Administrations to the end of 1917.
24. The following repairs and renewals were carried out in the Workshops during the year:
Main Line locomotive No. 7 heavy repairs
No. 6 light repairs No. 4 painted.
28 Main Line carriages received light repairs and 9
were painted and varnished.
Heavy repairs were carried out on 2 wagons, 47 wagons
receiving light repairs and 39 painted.
New steel or malthoid roofs were fitted to 8 wagons.
The Fanling Branch Line carriages were also overhauled
and varnished.
25. The following machines and tools were made in the Workshops chiefly from scrap materials:-
1 Boiler stay screwing machine and stay taps.
1 Woodworking lathe.
1 Boiler testing pump.
1 Oil testing machine.
Fire appliances.
18 Lamps for switchstands in loco yard.
1 Electric magnetic separator.
1 pair 45-ton lifting blocks.
26. In May the 5-ton travelling crane was sold and during the year the following old construction plant was disposed of:-

6 Air receivers.
1 134 F Compound wound dynamo and engine.
1 25 h.p. Double cylinder winding engine.
1 30 h.p. Loco multitubular boiler.
1 25 h.p. "Schram" semi loco type multitubular boiler.
W.I. pipes, bends and tee pieces, etc.
Metre gauge crossings.
2 Switchboards.
1 8 h.p. Loco type boiler.
