Out of 4,016 primary vaccinations, 912 were reported as not inspected to see if the vaccination had been successful or not. When the great importance of primary vaccination is considered, this seems to be an unduly large number. Of the 3,094 primary cases inspected, a case success of 98.2% is satisfactory.

The term "Secondary" has unfortunately been used to include all re-vaccinations whether they are secondary, tertiary or more. The results given undoubtedly underestimate the strength of the lymph and an effort will be made to have these cases sorted out into their proper classes next year.

* Miscellaneous includes Hospitals other than the Government Civil Hospital, The Sanitary Department, Public Vaccinator New Territories, etc.
