MR. WONG KWOK-HING (in Cantonese): Mr. Chairman, I have a question. The original motion covers one financial year while the amended motion, three. If the amended motion is carried, there will be no need to discuss further the recommendation made by the procedural motion. I don't understand why it has to be referred to the Overseas Visits Sub-Committee of the Administration Select Committee for discussion.
CHAIRMAN (in Cantonese): We are not discussing the contents of the motion now. We are discussing the procedural motion. It is being referred to the relevant select committee under Standing Order 21(15)(J) for further discussion. Nothing is mentioned about the way forward that should be taken.
If there are no more questions, we will first vote on Mr. Lai Wing-lin's procedural motion. All right? If the motion is not carried, we will go back to the amended motion and the original motion. Would Members please cast their vote?
