Shopian Chow was an old member of both the Legislative and Executive Councils and Li Tse Fong is a banker, also on the Legislative Council. He does not know Lau Tit-shing.
We have no doubt that this information will have reached the Colonial Office through other channels but in case it has not we thought it well to report it.
