I am directed by Mr. Secretary Sden to acknowledge the receipt of your letter F.L.310/5 of 28th May about communications with Kr. R.E. Farvell of the Hong Kong Telephone Company in Macao.

I am to inform you that there are at present no means of forwarding letters to Macao, but in a matter of urgency this epartment would be prepared to forward a mes age at your expense by telegraph through His Majesty's Consul at Macao.
