Stocks.

3 Europeans are available for demolition work and would require the assistance of 4 military personnel. The plant could be put out of action in 2 hours.
Nothing of sufficient importance to warrant the preparation of a scheme.
The Company have two wooden minesweepers on the stocks for which disposal instructions are required should hostilities commence before they are completed. In addition, they hold two sets of propelling machinery for two gunboats which were to be constructed for the Chinese Government but are at present in abeyance. Disposal instructions would have to be given at the outbreak of hostilities for this Chinese Goverment property.
State of schemes.
The preparation of a scheme has been discussed with the Works Manager and he is now working on it.
South China Ironworks.
Plant. No scheme exists and cannot be prepared in conjunction
with the firm as the works are under Chinese management. It is considered inadvisable to disclose any details of the project to them.
Stocks.
The works were inspected by the Director of supply and it is estimated that 4 R.E. personnel could wreck the more valuable machinery in 4 hours with dynami te. These personnel could be found from the party detailed to demolish the Texaco Petrol installation (see below).
Machine tool spares would be demolished by the same party if time was available.
State of scheme.
If possible, a plan of the works will be obtained so that the personnel detailed for the job can be shown what they have to do beforehand.
Kowloon/Canton Railway.

Plant. As much plant as possible will be shipped elsewhere.
much as possible of the remaining plant will be demolished by personnel of the Railway workshops. No asistance is required.
Stocks. Inflammable stocks will be burnt. The remainder will have
to be left.

Plant and Stocks.
The two items in this case fall under the one head. scheme has been prepared and the necessary R. E. personnel detailed. The amount of the stocks vary as importa are received.
The white spirit tanks and godowns will be fired and the black oil tanks and tins demolished and their contents run to waste. Time to complete 24 hours.
