concerned will act as follows:-
(a) EVACUATION OF PLANT, ETC.
Commodore.
(1) Provide for berthing of one coasting
steamer at Whampoa and one at Taikoo. (11) Arrange with the Transport Board for
the despatch of lighters required:
(a) Nine for Whampoa Docka.

(b) one for Kwa Van for Hip Tung Wo
machinery.
(c) 2 Lorries to Ling Num Factory.
Managers of Companies concerned.
(1) Proceed with packing of plant and loading of stores and machinery.
(11) Arrange for the despatch of European
and Chinese personnel.
Lists of plant, etc., despatched are to be sent to the Defence Secretary for record purposes, and copies are to be sent in ships carrying the articles.
In addition particulars of personnel despatched are also to be provided in order that the authorities at port of destination may be informed.
NOTE.- In the time available it may not be possible to
comply with the usual formalities such as
inoculation of personnel, preparation of bills of lading, etc.
(b) DEMOLITION OF PLANT, ETC.
The Military Authorities will either assist or carry out the destruction in the works referred to in paragraph 1 of Appendix B, the officers in charge of demolition parties being furnished with written authority to do so.
The Commodore will issue the necessary instructions to commence demolitions in the Whampoa Dockyard.
