Forgery, etc., of landing permits, etc.
ALIENS.
(2) The person so summoned shall attend at the hour and place specified in the summons and shall answer truthfully all questions which the Immigration Officer or the Local Authority may put to him respecting any alien.
(3) The Immigration Officer and the Local Authority may administer oaths to and examine on oath any person summoned before him for the purposes of this section.
(4) Any person summoned who fails to attend at the hour and place specified in the summons shall be deemed to have contravened the provisions of this Ordinance.
(5) Every summons issued under subsection (1) shall be accompanied by a sum of money sufficient to cover the reasonable expenses of the witness' transport and attendance before the Immigration Officer or the Local Authority as the case may be.
Part III.
GENERAL.
29. Any person who-
(a) forges or fraudulently alters, or assists in forg- ing or fraudulently altering, or procures to be forged, or fraudulently altered, any landing permit, certificate of admission or certificate of residence issued or purporting to be issued under this Ordinance or under any similar law for the time being in force in any Malay State under His Majesty's protection; or
(b) makes, assists in making, or procures to be made, any false representation for the purpose of procuring either for himself or for any other person a landing permit, certificate of admission or certificate of residence;
may be arrested without warrant by any police officer and shall be liable on conviction before a District Court to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment of either description for any term not exceeding two years.
