In Subsection (iv) the phrase "remittance or letter of credit" is amended to read "Japanese currency, Manchoukuo currency, foreign currency, remittance or letter of credit" and the phrase one thousand yen" to read five hundred yen"
New paragraphs (2) and (3).

(2). Japanese bank notes and Manchoukuo currency notes may not be imported from a place outside the territory (except Japan or Manchoukuo) except with the permission of the Ambassador; provided that this shall not be necessary in the cases enumerated below:
(1). When a traveller imports on his person a sum not exceeding two hundred yen.
(11). When importation arises from the needs of a Government department.
(3). A person who imports Japanese bank notes, Manchoukuo currency notes or foreign currency from a place outside the territory (except Japan or Hanchoukuo) shall, at the time of arrival if he imports them on his person, or within two weeks of the time of importation in other cases, submit a report to the Ambassador through the Kwantung Government Office.
