of the steps to wind the same up wholly suspended and that no person or persons firm company or corporation can now act as the representatives of or purport to act in the name of the Company in Hong Kong or elsewhere unless and until such

Receiver is appointed.

6. I am informed an verily believe that a Japanese Company

in Hong Kong is claiming to here received authority from the

Ching Kee Steam Navigation Co. Ltd. to take possession of and

control the movements of the ships registered in the name of

the Ching Kee Steam Navigation Co. Ltc., but according to the

official information in my possession, no such Japanese Company

has been or is authorised to act in the name or on behalf of

the Ching Kee Steam Navigation Co. Ltd. an that no person firm

company or corporation can so act without the authority of the

Government of the Republic of China or unter or in pursuance

of any Order of a Court of competent jurisdiction in the

Republic of China.

7.

I am informed and ve:ily believe from inquiries made at

the Karbour Office of Long Kong that, purporting to be the

representatives of the Ching Kee team Kavigation Co., Ltd. a

clearance in respect of each of the said .. "Zao Lee" and

3.5. "An Lee" has been applied for and that the said clearances

respectively may be granted at any moment after which the said

vessels will leave the Colony.

8. I verily believe that the object of obtaining the clearance

in each case is to remove the vessels from the Colony of

Hong Kong and thereafter to prevent the vessels from coming

under the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of China
