Note by the Secretary.
The attached letter from the Foreign
Office dated 11th February is circulated for consideration by the Chiefs of Staff.
2.
It is suggested that the Chiefs of Staff should decide what instructions should be given to the C.-in-C. and A.0.C.-in-C., Middle East with regard to (a) of Sir Orme Sargent's letter.
3.
As regards (b), it is suggested that this is a matter which the Chiefs of Staff only can decide in the light of the advice of their staffs as to the effect of any acceleration of supplies to Turkey on our own programme.
