Allied Governments or High Commands.
To produce, when possible, agreed recommendations as to Allied policy on subjects on which the British Chiefs of Staff have already agreed, or, alternatively, to explore with their colleagues subjects on which policy has not yet been decided by the British Chiefs of Staff.
To draw the attention of the British Chiefs of Staff to any military problems of an inter Allied nature, which in the view of the Allied Military Committee, are not already receiving adequate attention.
Individually, the British members should keep themselves acquainted with the policy of the Staff of their respective Services on matters which they have under discussion. Collectively, they will be responsible for working in close touch with the Joint Planning Sub-Committee.

In the event of a particular subject being put forward by the British for discussion by the Allied Military Committee, the British Representatives may either receive the views of the British Chiefs of Staff in the form of a Chiefs of Staff Paper, or, alternatively, they may receive a paper prepared by the Joint Planning Sub-Committee or other sub-committees of the Chiefs of Staff organisation, which can be employed as a brief in the forthcoming discussions.
10. The British Representatives will report the results of their discussions with their Allied colleagues direct to the Chiefs of Staff.

The British section of the Allied Military Committee and the Joint Planning Sub-Committee should, on the initiation of either, meet as necessary to discuss any points which appear to require co-ordination and agreement either before or during the progress of discussions with the Allied Representatives on the Allied Military Committee,
