(3.) In default of any such agreement a Secretary of State 15 Board shall, on the application of the sessions and council, or one of such bodies, determine the matters by this section authorised to be settled by agreement between the sessions and the council.
65. The duties of clerks of the peace under the Acts relating to Duties of the registration of the parliamentary voters, or to the deposit of clerks of the 20 plans, shall be transferred to the clerk of the county council, and peace.
See 7 Wm., be deemed to be duties exercised under the direction of the county 1Vict. c. 83., council, and all enactments relating to such registration shall be 9 & 10 Vict. construed as if county clerk were therein substituted for clerk of the peace.

66. (1.) On and after the appointed day an electoral division Licensing shall be the area for which a general licensing meeting shall be held by county for the purposes of the Licensing Acts, and shall be deemed to be the licensing district for the purposes of the said Acts, and the 30 statutory committee of each division shall be the licensing justices for such area, and shall annually hold a general annual licensing licensing meeting within the limits of time and in the manner in which the justices under the Licensing Acts are required to hold such meeting, and shall appoint special licensing meetings within 35 the time and in the manner, and for the purposes within, in, and for which the said justices are required by the said Acts to appoint special sessions; and the statutory committee at a general annual licensing meeting, and the members of such committee assembled at special licensing meetings, shall have the same jurisdiction in respect of licensing over all persons and premises within their division as they would have under the Licensing Acts if they were
