11.The Cabinet had before them a Memorandum by

the President of the Board of Education (Paper

C.P.-204 (28)) covering a Minute from the Director

of The Victoria and Albert Museum with an accom-

panying Memorandum in regard to a proposal made

by the ex-Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg to sell the

historic Collection known as the "Treasure of the

Guelphs". Lord Eustace Percy was, however, unable

to suggest any action by the Government in the

matter.

The Cabinet took note of the above Memorandum.
