38. Troops other than the R.G.A. in the Fire Command are assigned to positions as follows: At the war period, half the number of men at each post will be on duty at the precautionary period (R.E. excepted). The O.C. infantry will arrange for the defence of cable ends and E.L. emplacements during the precautionary period.
