To report themselves to the Officer i/c Supplies, Victoria, at Supply Depôt, Victoria Barracks, and O.C. A.S.C., Kowloon Supply Depôt, Whitfield Barracks, for orders.

Army Service Corps Duties.-The Inspector of Army Schools and the Garrison School Master will report themselves at once to the O.C. A.S.C. for employment in connection with A.S.C. duties.

Schools. All schools in the garrison will be closed.

(D.)-Action by Officer Commanding Royal Artillery.

(i.) At the Precautionary Stage.

1. He will at once issue the necessary orders for the movement into the batteries, works, and posts, in accordance with Table B (i), Chapter II, of the artillery manning

details.

2. He will arrange for (a) the placing in position of such guns of movable arma- ment, with their complement of ammunition, as the Officer Commanding may direct; (b) the handing over to the infantry officers concerned any machine guns (with comple- ment of ammunition) required, in addition to those in infantry charge, on post or defensive works.

3. He will supervise the arrangements which are already provided for by Fire Commanders and Company Commanders.

(a.) For accommodation of and for transport of manning details in accordance with Table G (ii), Chapter III.

(b.) For sufficient detachments to be placed in the various forts to work the guns required, and to guard them, and all equipment and stores in the batteries, P.F. cells, F.C. posts, and R.A. storehouses from theft or malicious injury.

(c.) For connecting up the telephone on the R. A. command lines and for the provision of telephone operators for the R.A. command lines.

(ii.) At the War Stage.

4. He will take up his duties as Artillery Adviser on the Staff of the G.O.C., and will, under the direction of the G.O.C., issue from time to time such orders as may be necessary for the efficient fighting of the Eastern and Western Fire Commands and for the disposal of the Artillery Reserves and H.K.S.B. R.G.A.

5. He will supervise the arrangements which are already provided for by Fire Commanders' orders.

(a.) For garrisoning the batteries, artillery works and posts, for provision of signallers for examination services, and detachments for R.A. look-out posts in accord- ance with Tables D (ii) and D (vi), and Table B (ii), Chapter II.

(b) For receiving from G.O.C. any ammunition held on ordnance charge for movable armament and for keeping the movable armament guns supplied with ammuni-

tion.

(c.) For provision and maintenance of instruments for the R.A. command lines.
