7. Bandsmen and all men on regimental employ will at once join their double cos., the rifles and accoutrements of men sick in hospital being issued to bandsmen under double co. arrangements.

8. The trained signallers of the regiment are placed at the disposal of the Brigade Signalling Officer.

(vii.)-Hong Kong Volunteer Corps.

1. In accordance with Garrison Order No. of to-day's date, two officers and 20 men with 2-15-prs. will proceed to No. II Section; and 2 officers and 20 men with 2-15-prs. to No. III Section. They will parade at o'clock at headquarters, and will proceed by route march to their Sections, and will report to O.C. Sections on arrival.

The remainder of the corps will parade at headquarters at o'clock, and, except E Company, will march to Victoria Barracks, there to be quartered in Reserve.

In the event of any member of the corps being unable to attend the parade, they will proceed as soon as possible to barracks, and report themselves to the Č.O. of their unit, who will report their arrival to the Commandant.

The members of "E" Co. will proceed as quickly as possible to Wellington Barracks, where the O.C. will receive his further orders from the O.C.S.M. Co., "E" Co. being attached to the R.E. on mobilization for discipline and rations.

2. Field service order, khaki drill, helmets, putties, haversacks, and water-bottles filled, belts, and side-arms, and two day's rations to be carried in the haversack.

3. 100 rounds of ball ammunition per rifle and 24 rounds of pistol ammunition by officers and staff-sergeants to be carried in pouches, and 11,000 with each Maxim.

The ammunition and any arms not already in possession of members of the corps will be issued at headquarters on parade.

4. Men's kits limited to 20 lb. per man, officers' baggage limited to 60 lb. per officer.

Officers' mess kits and stores, and all mobilization equipment already issued, and guns will be stacked separately by parties at headquarters by o'clock for removal

on arrival of coolies.

The O.C. Field Battery will kindly tell off a party of 40 n.c.os. and men for this work.
