(B.)-Action by D.A.A.G. and C.S.O.
1. He will warn all troops to hold themselves in readiness for mobilization.
2. He will issue the orders for mobilization which are kept prepared. The O.C.A.S.C. will give him the time table for embarkations.
3. He will communicate with the civil authorities in regard to the issue of Procla- mations and other matters referred to in Chapter VI (i).
4. He will see that the necessary action is taken to call out the Volunteers for actual military service, and to increase their numbers.
5. If ration sub-depôts are established before mobilization, he will detail the necessary guards and escorts.
6. He will detail the movable columns when required, referred to in Chapter II.
7. On receipt of orders he will promulgate the following garrison orders :-

1. Declaration of Active Service. The following Proclamation, issued by His Excellency the Governor, is published for information :--
(See Chapter VI (i) (1).)
2. Mobilization. The units in garrison will mobilize for the defence of the Colony, in accordance with confidential orders which are in possession of Officers Commanding.
3. Action by General Staff, Section Commanders, and Reserve.--The D.A.A.G., D.A.Q.M.G., O.C.R.A., C.R.E., O.C.A.S.C., P.M.O., C.O.O., D.P., Section Commanders, and O.C. Reserve will take action in accordance with the detailed instructions which are in their possession.
4. Command. The following are Commanding Officers of Sections and Reserve:--

5. Garrison Guards.-The O.C. the Reserve will detail the following guards, who will at once proceed to their respective posts and relieve those at present on duty. They will be visited daily under orders issued by the Ò.C. the Reserve.
