33. Page 36, Table C, footnote.-The date of last revision should be entered. "D.A.Q.M.G." should now read "Major, General Staff.'

34. Page 39 (CC), paragraph 6.-To the list of officers authorized to send "Clear line" messages, add "Intelligence Officer."

35. Page 39 (CC C), paragraphs 1, 3, and 5.-For "Major, General Staff," substitute "Intelligence Officer."

36. Page 69, F (ii), paragraph 12.-"Table F (iii)" should read "Table F (iv)."

37. Page 71, Table F (i), No. III Section. The reference to "R.E.S.M." is now incorrect.

38. Page 76, Table F (iv).-The statement of reserve supplies should be revised. and brought up to date. The reserve of preserved meat was reduced on the 4th May, 1906, from 55,000 lbs. to 30,000 lbs., and the reserve of biscuit was raised from 12,000 lbs. to 15,000 lbs.

The reserve of jam has been abolished.

39. Page 78 (G) (ii), paragraph 4.-It appears from Table G (iv) that the additional civil surgeons required are to be permanently employed and paid throughout the duration of hostilities. This arrangement appears to be unnecessarily costly. The services of the civil surgeons would be required only in case of actual or threatened attack. It is therefore suggested for consideration whether arrangements could not be made under which the additional surgeons would be called out for employment only when attack is imminent, and would receive payment only in event of their services being actually utilized.

40. Page 79, paragraph 10.-The distribution of the doolies and bearers available for dressing stations might be shown in additional columns of Table G (iv).

41. Page 81, Table G (iii).-The only mention of first field dressings appears to be in this table, where the issue to sections of a small number, presumably for dressing stations, is shown. First field dressings should be held in mobilization stores for every officer and man, and it is desirable that the arrangements made for their distribution should be recorded.

42. Page 82 (H)-Action by the Chief Ordnance Officer -A separate communica- tion is being made in regard to the revision of the reserves of Orduance Stores required for mobilization.
