RESULTS returned for the second period of the Summer Postal League show a definite improvement in the standard of marksmanship, the number of teams in the First Division which ' returned acorca under 300 being eleven, as against 21 in the first period.

Gala Ends

The three-day exhibition swith- ming gala sponsored by the Chung Sing Benevolent Society in aid of the Refugee Rellet Fund proved to be highly successful, large crowds attending. Exhibitions were given by the Colony's leading swimmers. Prominent Chinese actors, and ac- tresses interspersed songs and other the light entertainment.
