ANKARA, June 9 (UP),--Best informed diplomatic sources stated to-day that a large-scale movement of German troops was in progress northwards from the south Bal- kans, They declared that the Germans were now concentrating huge forces in Moldavia for the purpose of applying pressure to Russia to allow German troops to cross by land and sea from Contanza to Baku, from where they would travel to Iran by train`and truck, seizing British off supplies, and invading Iraq thus outflanking Syria.
Diplomatic sources considered that it was certain the Germans would resume their pressure on Turkey to allow the passage of at least war minterials to Syrin, but it is not believed that the Nazis will push the issue as far as a conflict.
It is stated that British reconnaissance has ascertained the concentration of several hundred German planes at Rhodes, where a large number of troops is ready for air trans- port to Syrla,
