communique states: "A considerable -force of bombers and fighters attacked the aerodrome at Stomer this afternoon. Five British planes are missing."
"The R.A.F. has been very active over the English Channel and north- west France to-day. A number of fighter patrols have been maintained, resulting in the destruction of one enemy boinber over the Channel. during the morning, and a second one in the afternoon.
