LONDON, Feb. 5 (UP).—A strong force of RAF. bombers protected by layers of ' scouting fighter planes carried out a daylight sweep of the snowbound const of France this afternoon.

CAIRO, Feb. 5 (Reuter),—— Bomber aircraft of the R.A.F yesterday made repeated raids on Barce, Berka, Benina and Italian lines of communication to Benghazi.

Between Maraua and Barce, BIAS BAY motor transport was heavily attacked and much damage was caused. The Barce railway station was also raided and three Tu direct hits wore registered on the track near the station. Hangars were hit at Berka and a large fire was started at Benina.
