(By "SCRAMBLER”):

STAGING a belated rally in the second half, St. Joseph's College put up a spirited display to- wards the end of the game in their match against the Eastern yesterday losing by four goals to one after being led at half time by four goals.

With a quick and energetic attack during the first fifteen minutes of the game, 'Eastern and St. Joseph's College complete outclassed, and it was during this period that they scored three quick goals in the space of ten minutes. It took St. Joseph's some time to get set- tled down, and once when they achiced that stage, the

There is no denying the fact for the Soints kept up a continual that on the day's play Eastern attack.

Right from the start, the Eastern went into the attack, and from a passing rally staged by Tao, Hyu tricked two defenders to put his team one up. Soon they went to their work ofain, and from in free kick takett by Hsu King-sing, Hau Ching- tat ran in to score.

They played well as a team and there was hardly a weak link in them. Woo Chi-chlang and 8. X. Yen played well with understanding, and the Intermediate line of Lau. The Board for Two Players

Two Bridge players can use the DUO-BRIDGE Board anywhere and at any time; there is no need to go out to the Club on those black nights,

You will enjoy it in any situation, because it is the very best Bridge game for two people yet invented.

Let us admit at once that there are certain technical difficulties which cannot be overcome. We are well aware of them but they do not affect the character of the game in any way. Neither player sees more than his own hand while bidding and only his own hand and Dummy during play. It is obvious that peculiar bidding, psychics and wild Jump-overbids are no use in such a game, Indeed the hands have been very carefully slected:
