A state of emergency exists in Rumanla where it is reported that Iron Guards have fought pitched battles with Rumanian troops in some places following the recent wholesale execution of the alleged "murderers" of Corneliu Codreanu, former leader of the Iron Guards.
Russian planes are reported to have flown over Moldavia and dropped pamphlets denouncing Fascism.
