The unauthorised publication in the "Shek Shan Po," a Chinese newspaper, on September 13, of
a speech by the Rt. Hon. Winston Churchill, led to separate summonses being brought by Reuters Ltd., against

Tang Tin-fu, publisher of the newspaper, and Ling Chung-kok, editor.
They were summoned before Mr. H. G. Sheldon, K.C., at the Central Magistracy this morning, for unlawfully publishing or causing to be published in the "Shek Shan Fo" at 54 Lyndhurst Terrace, a translation in substance in the Chinese language of a message containing a speech by Mr. Winston Churchill receiv- ed by Renters Ltd., from London for publication to their Bubscribers.
