DIET FOR FINICKY

CHILDREN

It isn't always naughtiness that makes children go off their food. It is more often "Nerviness," tired digestion and the need for the stimulus of a new, palatable easily digested food.

Finicky children respond very readily to Horlicks. They love its davour, it keeps them regular and provides abundant nourish- ment in a form that the most queasy stomach can take.

Soon you notice a wonderful change. The little body begins to All out, colour returns to the checks, peevishness goes and ap- petite becomes keen, Horlicks gives a child all the energy needed for rapid growth and strenuous play.

Britain's Minefield Reaches to Greenland

GERMANY BOASTS of her blockade of Britain but far more potent is the British blockade of Germany. Early this month. Britain mined the waters between the Orkneys and Ireland and Iceland and Greenland, and all vessels wishing to proceed to European waters must now use the waters between the Shetlands and the const of Greenland, where a narrow channel has been provided.

SPECIAL TO THE "TELEGRAPH"

BERLIN, Aug. 26 (UP).

--Germany's latest allega

tion against Britain is that her pilots are shooting down Nazi Red Cross planes while they are rescuing wounded aviators at sea.

It is reliably reported that the German Government has sent a note to the British Government through the Swiss nuthorities, stating that Germany will take the sharpest reprisals in the case of a repetition of the alleged shooting down of German red cross planes by British fighters.

More recently

British contended that the Government Nazis were misusing their Red Cross planes and attempting to employ iber either

as decoys for their ralders or as reconnaissance planes.

"Britain warned Berlin that per- sistence in such practice would de prive the Red Cross planes of their
