Guarding Against Nazi Invasion DUBLIN, July 17 (Reuter). Eire's scheme for defence against an invasion was describ ed to "Reuter's" special corres- pondent by a high officer of the, Irish General Staff.
This officer sald that they had an outer observation fringe on the lines of the old Coast Guards. From points commanding a wide view of the aen, a day and night watch is kept and communica- tions have been installed so as to give immediato notice of any suspicious movements.
They also had a sea patrol of various small craft in wireless com- munication with the shore and with their fast motor torpedo boats.
