Passes To Ministry Of Information
LONDON, Sept. 28 (Reuter). -The Prime Minister made a statement in the House of Com- mons this afternoon, on the B.B.C.
The powers held by charter by the Postmaster-General, said Mr. Cham- berinin, had been transferred to the Ministry of Information.
This did not alter the relations be- tween the Government and the B.B.C.
The Governors of the B.B.C. had been, retkiced from seven to twu to ensure smooth and swift operation of the broadcasting system under conditions.

This was according to the provi sions in the charter and had been agreed upon by the Government and the bourd of the Governorn before the outbreak of the war.
The new arrangements did not alter the structure of the constitu- 'tion of the B.B.C.
