Members of the French Concession Volunteer Corps in Shanghal were presented with Emergency fedals and Certificates as well as with various-cups won in shooting compellitons, in a ceremony held at the French Police Club recently. The presentations were made by the Senior Naval Commander and Lieu- tenant-Colonel L, Grenler, Commanding the French Forces, la the presence of D. Maurice Baudes, French Consul-General, and M. Ch. Grosbols, Commanding Volunteers. All high ranking French naval and mill- lary officers attended the presentation. The officers are shown in the above piciare, with some of the volunteers in the background,

Body Recovered

Funeral Of Pilot Officer Bryan-Gower To-day

After nearly a week of stronuous searching, the body of Pilot Offeer D. H. Bryan-Gower, one of the typ victims of the Royal Air Forco tragedy at Tytam Bay last Thursday, was recovered yesterday afternoon when it come the surface and wis seen floating in Tytam Day about 4.30 p.m.

The body was immediately brought ashore by the Stanley Police and later removed to the Naval Hospital The funeral will take place to-day it 4.30 p.m.

Pilot Oncer Briand Gower and Flight Sergeant Ogden were involv ed in the fatal accident in Tytam Bay lost Thursday morning while engaged in a practice flight. The plane hit the water with some force and sank in a few seconds.
