Appeal is to be lodged by an authoress who, in the King's Bench Division, lost an action for alleged slander which she brought against a former woman friend.
At the close of the case Mr. Justice Singleton said of her: "She goes away from this court with a perfectly clear charac- ter. I enn understand that she thought, it necessary to bring the action."
