Dr. Reichelt described the Chris- tlan World Conference which held at Tambaram, near Madras, in December when 470 delegates from 70 different countries were present.. There was only one resolution which bore directly on the war, sald Dr. Reichelt, and that was agreed to on Christmas day. He read out the resolution from the Report of the Conference.

The speaker then described the personalities who were prominent at the Conference. They were Dr. C. Z. Koo of China, who spoke on pro- with the Sino- blems connected Japanese war; Dr. Kagawa of Japan, who spoke on the meaning of the Cross; and the Rev. C. F. Ambrose, well known missionary In India.

Mr. J. Russell, Chairman of the meeting, thanked the speaker, and reminded those present that the next meeting will be a visit to the Social Settlements in Kowloon next week.
