The Imports and Exports Department (Statistical Branch) reports that the combined values of imports and exports of merchandise (excluding treasure) as declared during the month of November, 1938 totalled 95.0 millions (£5.9 millions) na compared with' $104.9 millions (£6.5 millions) in November, 1937. In terms of local currency the total visible trade of the Colony (excluding treasure), decreased by 9.4% in November, 1938 as compared with November, 1937; and by 9.2% in termu of sterling.
